Travel intelligence

She travels all over California; clients come to her in Sacramento. Trip plans with honest cost estimates, hotel intel, a one-pager she can send clients, one-click expense capture, and Goldie as travel agent. Everything saves in this browser β€” export or delete anytime.

Trip planner

Plan a client run

"I need to see three clients in LA next week" β†’ an optimized itinerary with drive/flight times, cost estimates, and a total trip preview. Home base defaults to the Capitol (Sacramento); any origin works.

How estimates work β€” read before quoting to anyone

Drive miles/times are fixed reference distances. Flight legs use a per-leg estimate labeled as such β€” not a live quote. Live fares and booking run through the Duffel integration: the trip planner hands the itinerary to Goldie (and the parent agent's duffel search), which prices and books the real thing. Mileage uses the IRS standard rate for the trip's dates. Hotels use tier estimates, not live prices. Assumptions are printed on every plan.

Hotel intel

Where to stay

Curated for business travel β€” quiet floors, extended-stay options for session, right districts. Tiers: $ budget Β· $$ mid Β· $$$ premium. "Book" links go to the hotel's own site (domains verified via web search, Oct 2026) β€” never invent URLs.

Visitor guide

Send clients the Capitol one-pager

A shareable "visiting Sacramento" page: where to stay near the Capitol, getting around, building security and what to expect, where to meet, dining picks from the Dining guide. Download it as a branded Word doc and send it to any client visiting town.

Expense capture

One entry, three destinations

Log it once: it lands in your billing as a client expense (or write-off), in your FPPC expense log as an activity expense, and in your personal trip record β€” whatever combination you check. Mileage auto-calculates at the IRS rate for the trip date.

Goldie, travel agent

Book through Goldie

Her preferences live here and travel with every request. Booking itself runs through the Duffel flight integration on the parent agent β€” Goldie drafts the request, she reviews, then it's searched and booked. Never any fabricated prices.

My trips

Your data, your control

Travel preferences, trips, and personal trip records live only in this browser (silobbyist_travel_v1). Client billing entries live in silobbyist_v1_practice; FPPC entries in silobbyist_compliance_v1 β€” those pages have their own export/delete.
