Legislator dossier

Select a legislator to build their dossier — bio, district, committees, leadership role, and what to research before your meeting.

Coalitions

Advocacy group directory

The organizations that show up in support and opposition on California bills. Filter by type to map your coalition — or theirs.

How to use this for support/oppo work

1. Map the committee — pull the roster of the committee hearing your bill; flag the chair, swing votes, and hostile members.
2. Dossier your targets — open each dossier, then ask Goldie for their voting history and public statements on your issue.
3. Map the field — use the advocacy directory + the Studio's stakeholder/whip map to chart supporters, opponents, and their lobbyists.
4. Prep the meeting — generate a meeting-prep brief for each target before you walk in.

Roster data is compiled from official legislative sources and refreshed periodically. Voting records, donor profiles, and bill authorship histories are available through leginfo.legislature.ca.gov and Cal-Access — Goldie can walk you through pulling them for any member.
